How to use

For stylist use with a colour or chemical service:

Begin with PRO Chelating Hair Complex:

1. Section dry hair into 4 quadrants.

2. Apply 6-10 sprays of K18 PRO Chelating Hair Complex to each quadrant. (PRO tip: Hair should be lightly damp (never wet or dripping) after applying the K18 PRO Chelating Hair Complex. For best results, start with 6 sprays per quadrant and increase up to 10 as needed based on your client’s length and density.)

3. After application is complete, comb through each quadrant to ensure even distribution of K18 PRO Chelating Hair Complex.

4. Wait 4 minutes. (Do not rinse out.)

Apply the PRO Molecular Repair Hair Mist:

1. Apply 4-9 sprays of K18 PRO Molecular Repair Hair Mist to each quadrant using the same application method as the previous steps.

2. Once complete, wait 4 minutes. (PRO tip: This is a great time to mix your lightener or colour. Remember—there is no need to alter your formula when using K18 PRO Molecular Repair Hair Mist. Continue to formulate as you normally would to achieve your client’s desired end result.)

3. Rinse out.

4. If needed, dry the hair prior to applying the lightener or colour, depending on your desired technique.

5. Process your lightener or colour as usual. Remember, the K18 PRO Molecular Repair Hair Mist doesn’t affect processing time!

6. Rinse and shampoo with K18 PEPTIDE PREP™ Shampoo. Do NOT condition.

Finish with the PRO Molecular Repair Hair Mask:

1. Towel dry hair, then dispense 1 pump of K18 PRO Molecular Repair Hair Mask into your hands. Massage the product between palms until the product thickens.

2. Starting at the ends and working toward the roots, apply K18 PRO Molecular Repair Hair Mask to the hair. PRO tip: Begin with 1 pump and increase (up to 3) as needed based on the client’s length, density, and condition. Do not exceed 3 pumps.

3. Wait 4 minutes. Do not rinse out.

4. Proceed with cut or style as usual.

If toning, use K18 PRO Molecular Repair Hair Mask first, wait 4 minutes, then apply toner directly over the mask. Process as usual. Rinse or shampoo toner, and reapply K18 PRO Molecular Repair Hair Mask per the instructions above.

1. Section dry hair into 4 quadrants.

5. Rinse and shampoo with K18 Detox Shampoo. (Do NOT condition.)

1. Towel dry hair, then apply 4-9 sprays of K18 PRO Molecular Repair Hair Mist to each quadrant using the same application method as the previous steps.

2. Wait 4 minutes. (Do not rinse out.)

Finish with the PRO Molecular Repair Hair Mask:

1. Dispense 1 pump of K18 PRO Molecular Repair Hair Mask into your hands and massage the product between palms until the product thickens.

2. Starting at the ends and working toward the roots, apply K18 PRO Molecular Repair Hair Mask to the hair. (PRO tip: Begin with 1 pump and increase (up to 3) as needed based on the client’s length, density, and condition.)

3. Wait 4 minutes. (Do not rinse.)

4. Comb, add product, and style as usual.

For client PRO Molecular Repair Hair Mask use at home:

1. Shampoo, do not condition.

2. Towel-dry thoroughly.

3. Begin with 1 dime-sized amount of K18 PRO Molecular Repair Hair Mask. Add more as needed depending on length, thickness, and condition. (Maximum recommended usage is 3 dime-sized amounts.)

4. Apply all over.

5. Let sit for 4 minutes. (Do not rinse out.)

6. Style as usual.

7. Use for 4-6 washes post-salon service, then as needed.
